The small picture above is looking down at the bottom of the window and you can see a piece of paper that was pushed gently through the air gap from inside where the sealant was not fully applied.

I am not an expert but this not a replacement window, this is a brand new window in newly framed location, should it not have flashing around the exterior?

I just took these pictures near Coalton and Indiana as the coyote headed into Community Park in Superior CO.

I try to walk 3 miles around Superior almost everyday since I have lived here for the past 10 years. I sighted my first coyote in Superior last winter which was kind of fun to see. However this winter alone I have spotted a coyote out on my walks about once a week, it is no longer ‘fun’ to see them since I walk around lunch time while coyotes should be resting. Now to hear that a pack of coyotes has been spotted hurting something really freaks me out.

We have always had a family of rabbits in our yard since we don’t have a dog, but for the past few months I have not seen one. Perhaps it is wishful thinking that after the coyotes are done eating up the food source they will leave.

I understand that the Colorado Division of Wildlife will not send in sharp shooters in to kill aggressive coyotes until someone gets hurt like last winter when a 38-year-man in Broomfield was attacked.

Do we have to wait to read about someone being attacked in the newspaper to act? I am in favor of being proactive to keep our children safe.

Ever since I got digital voice with Comcast (new Arris modem) 80% of time I try to upload large video files (35meg) the modem reboots itself during the upload.

It appears to happen after the initial power boost upload (where it uploads really fast) and when the power boost ends is when it normally reboots itself.

This does not happen when I upload 3 or 4 meg files to Flickr.

modem -> router -> computer

I have not tried removing the router yet, because the router worked fine before I got digital voice.

The error I get in the modem logs is:

Power Supply Telemetry Log – BATTERY MISSING

I only upload to Vimeo and YouTube and they both have the same reboot issue.

Smaller files like the 3meg photos that I uploaded for this topic had no issue.

OK, I have an answer to what is going on with my rebooting modem when uploading large files.

UPDATE:

It happen 3 times in a row this morning so i called comcast and they said that my digital voice modem only supports 7 meg uploads!!!!!

Actual this is totally not true since I have uploaded 29MB files without a problem, but my last video of 73MB won’t work, perhaps she might to say the upload limit is 70MB.

I guess it is time to get rid of digital voice and get my old modem back.

They also told me that DOCSIS 3.0 is available in my area now, but they couldn’t tell me what I needed to do to get it.

I tried the same video file to the same site (Vimeo) and it uploaded fine after it had failed 3 times 2 hours ago (around 8am). Perhaps it is a time of day network congestion issue that causes it to reboot.

Update 2: It appears to only happen in the mornings.

8.8 Rebate and other Recovery Fees.
If you purchase a product or service with respect to which a rebate or benefit is provided that is conditioned on your maintaining Vonage service for a particular length of time, and if you disconnect service before the end of that period, you agree to pay us the applicable recovery fee. A recovery fee is equal to the difference between the price you paid to us and the advertised regular price of the product or service at the time you received it. Any recovery fees are cumulative and are in addition to any other amounts you may owe us, including any disconnection fees. Specifically, if a rebate is provided with respect to a phone adapter you directly purchase from Vonage, and if you cancel your service before the one-year anniversary of the date you ordered the service or the date your payment was processed, whichever is later, you will be charged a rebate recovery fee equal to the amount of any rebate given to you on the phone adapter.

I have been a Vonage customer since 1/30/2005 and I am trying to give them back their phone adapter device back since I am trying to cancel my service with them. But Vonage does want the device back, they want to charge me $86 for a “Rebate Recovery Fee”.

So I looked at Vonage’s terms of service and 8.8 states above that I will not be charged a Rebate Covery Fee if I have passed my one-year anniversery with them. My anniversary was 1/30/2006.

<script type="text/javascript"

But Vonage is telling me my anniversary got REFRESHED when I got a new phone adapter in January of this year because the old one died.

I can’t find any thing in the contract about this refreshed issue so I am confused why they want to bill me $86. Why can’t i just ship the adapter back to them?

UPDATE: I called them several times today to have them explain where in the contract it is written that my service date refreshes when I get a new device. I think they got tired of me and told me to ship the device back and they would refund me the money.
