		<description>Whoops.  I didn&#039;t even read all of your above post.  So w/ vista disconnected it won&#039;t boot.  I say try &#039;rescuing&#039; the windows 7 installation.</description>

I&#039;m guessing that you tried this and it didn&#039;t boot.

With the computer in that state (Windows 7 installed, but not booting), maybe try using the Windows 7 install media to do some sort of &#039;reinstall&#039; or &#039;rescue&#039; that will create a MBR? on the Windows 7 drive.</description>
